ASCEND is set to join about 30 EC Initiatives on Climate-Neutral & Smart Cities at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona on 7- 9 November 2023.
The international event is a hub for leading minds, bringing together experts, city leaders, innovative companies, research institutions, and international organisations to explore the future of smart cities.
With an expected turnout of over 24,000 professionals hailing from more than 800 cities worldwide, the Expo serves as an invaluable platform for sharing insights, strategies, and visions on the pressing issues impacting cities today: Enabling Technologies, Energy & Environment, Mobility, Governance, Living & Inclusion, Economy, Infrastructure & Building and Safety & Security.
ASCEND will be participating in booth sessions as well as in the central agora session, shedding light on energy-positive neighbourhoods as key to the sustainable European city of tomorrow.
