In Brussels, we have just reached the end of the "Mission in Progress", the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Conference that brought together all NetZeroCitiesEU partners to achieve climate-neutral cities by 2030.
For ASCEND, this was the opportunity to introduce its own mission and tools to the conference attendees, and cultivate the rich network of smart cities initiatives that populate Europe 🤝
Alongside the NEUTRALPATH project, we were part of the "Positive Clean Energy Districts Cluster", building knowledge among participants of the #PCEDconcept and its implementation.
In the words of Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, during his final remarks, "To continue on this journey is not just one of the options, it is an absolute necessity”.
