How can transport systems become an integral part of Positive Energy Districts? On 29 October 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST, the TIPS4PED project will host its second webinar, focusing on the connection between local energy systems, mobility and electric vehicle charging.
The session will look at how PEDs can account for transport-related energy demand while supporting lower-carbon mobility. Topics will include the integration of EV charging infrastructure, reducing energy use through more sustainable transport choices, and the wider challenge of connecting mobility with local energy planning. Speakers include Christian Destro from LINKS Foundation and Corina Hanrahan from the City of Cork.
The webinar is particularly relevant for cities and organisations working on district-scale decarbonisation, where buildings, energy generation and mobility increasingly need to be planned as interconnected systems rather than separate sectors.
Register now to learn how transport can be integrated into the energy planning of PEDs.
