Interesting sessions at URBIS, The Smart Cities Meetup in Brno

There are three sessions that promise to inspire and innovate in the fields of energy and urban development at URBIS, The Smart Cities Meetup in Brno, at BVV – Trade Fairs Brno.

The first session hosted by EERA - The European Energy Research Alliance Fast-tracking Energy Innovations in Buildings, Districts, and Cities, on 4 June in the afternoon. This dynamic seminar will delve into cutting-edge research and practical insights in buildings, neighborhoods, and urban systems. The seminar will look at diverse approaches in positive energy districts (PED) and New European Bauhaus (NEB) to gain valuable knowledge for the future.

Session two hosted by CrAft – Creating Actionable Futures: Exploring New Perspectives on City Planning and will take place on 5 June, in the afternoon.

The session will include an engaging workshop focused on redefining urban planning. Participants can discover innovative tools like the NEB Impact Model, The Utrecht Barcode, and the Espoo Co-Creation Toolkit, all designed to promote NEB values in urban development processes.

The final session hosted by SPARCSeu – Energy Solution Day Showcase Workshop will happen on 5 June in the morning. This session will delve into groundbreaking innovations tested in SPARCS Lighthouse cities Leipzig and Espoo. The session promises to be an insightful learning journey and will share inspiring the future of energy solutions.
