Today, at URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup Meetup in Brno, Czech Republic, we had an incredible session focusing on the @ASCEND cities, Lyon (LYON CONFLUENCE) and Munich, alongside Vienna, the former H2020 - Smarter Together Lighthouse city, presenting its WieNeu+ program. The discussions on the development and implementation of positive energy districts (PEDs) were nothing short of inspiring.
Key themes such as citizen participation, digital twins, and renewable energy sources were at the forefront of our discussions. The insights shared by our speakers and the enthusiasm from our attendees highlighted the critical importance of these elements in fostering PEDs.
